Snowy season is started in the North of sweden. We dit not have much before the new year, but now after the storm we recieved our first real snow of the season.
It is not unusual that the snow comes little late. After a 20 cm at the end of december it all went away around christmas. Now little over a week after New Year, we have had a real snowstorm “Anna” . Code red because of heavy wind blowing up the snow. Dangerous conditions with windspeeds up to 20 meter per second, filled with snow makes visibility almost zero. It took 2 days to get what we have now. Just some impressions made by us during the storm.

We expect more snow the next week. For now we have approximatly 40-50 cm on the ground. Some snowdunes ar as high as 1,50 meter, caused by the wind. Prepared we are, the snowblower and our ATV with snow plow helps us to get access to the road at any time.
