Welcome To Our Mini Farm in The North of Sweden
It is excellent to have you on our website. Let’s introduce ourselves first. We are Kim & Menno and we live in the North of Sweden. We live in Bjästa, a small town in the region of Västernorrland. Lot’s of people know this region because of the Höge Küsten or the High Coast area, one of the most spectacular Nature Reserves in Sweden.
We live on our mini farm with our cats, rabbits and chickens, grow vegetables and strawberries, and we make handcrafted wooden products in our small workshop.

The Best Biological Strawberries
We love our Farm, but we keep it biological. We do not use any chemical additives for growing our “Kungen” or Kings. Our Strawberries are looked after with a very close eye for detail. Water from our fresh hand dug water well, with the best quality of natural water you can find.
Al together this gives us a very good taste and color on the strawberries, sweet and full of life.
The short season in the North of Sweden makes it challenging and rewarding at the same time.
When we have them available coming season, you can order them online on this website. They are only available for pickup.

Farm Fresh Eggs
We are not alone on our farm, we have the “ladies”, 40 of them.
We love our chickens and they love us, yeah we feed them the best they can get. In winter they have their notice and cozy indoors and when the temperature rises, they love to go and play outside.
Nice and safe in their 300 square meter playground, they enjoy themselves with our rabbits and cats.
The “ladies” are of different breeds and form a nice group. We have the most beautiful coloured eggs in different sizes. Blue, Green, and Brown are the most common colors.

From Tree to Product
We keep it simple at The Nordic Craftsman. We use what nature provides, in our case many trees are available. We own our own forest and we use tree management to keep the forest in optimal condition. This results in cutting down some trees from time to time. These trees will at the end be used for the production of our products and also as firewood.
We saw wood on our Woodland Mill HM122, for our own use but also for the local community. They can come to our sawmill and have their trees processed by us.
